Doctor of Business Administration Program
Scientific questions are often too theoretical for the business world, while business-related questions can appear too practical for academia. The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program bridges this gap by aligning with the needs of the business community and inviting experienced corporate executives and senior leaders to conduct scientific research under the supervision of the university’s leading scholars. The program aims to produce high-quality research that results in publications in top-tier international academic journals, addressing topics of real importance to the business sector.
At the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), the DBA program expands participants’ existing business expertise with research knowledge and skills, which are then applied and developed through their own mentored research projects.
The quality and international communicability of a doctoral research project are defined by the quality of its publications. The uniqueness of the MATE DBA program lies in its expectation and encouragement of publishing in leading (Q1/Q2) academic journals.
