Introduction
Last modified: 04. October 2023
The Doctoral School of Landscape Architecture and Landscape Ecology (TTDI) aims to include those scientific research and development directions and tasks that deal with the complex investigation of landscape architecture, landscape ecology, environmental problems and the scientific basis of planning/design theory, risk and impact assessment, development strategy planning providing a scientific foundation to planning/design, development, renovation, protection and rehabilitation, as well as climate impact and modelling of natural and human-impacted ecosystems in the field of ecology and landscape ecology. Due to the complexity of the ecological and landscape/geographical systems under study, research relies heavily on methods of design engineering, mathematics and information technology/geoinformation systems.
Subject groups
The research activities of the School are mainly in the field of agricultural engineering and partly in the field of agricultural/environmental sciences. The School's work is divided into seven subject groups.
